Spa Policies
Although we try to accommodate anyone who shows up at our door begging for a pedicure, we cant always fit you in- so we recommend appointments. And, because other people book appointments too, please arrive on time- or even 15 minutes early for paperwork, a latte, and some deep breathing exercises in our client lounge to bring you down from your day.
For multiple person booking, spa packages, or medical aesthetic services, a credit card may be required to hold the booking.
Cancellations and No-Shows
If you need to cancel your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours to cancel the 4 piece band we hired to celebrate your existence. Please note that if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice we will charge a cancellation fee of $25 or 10% of the treatment cost- whichever is higher.
If you don’t show up at all, we will be very sad- and we will charge you 100% of the service cost, or redeem any pre-paid services that would have been used.
Finally, if you are late for your service, we will bust our butts to get as much done as possible, but we may cut your appointment short to accommodate the clients booked after you. If you choose not to have your treatment- then we will consider it a no-show and charge accordingly.
PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL ENFORCE THIS POLICY.
What to Bring (and what NOT to bring)
Please do not bring small children, dogs, or pet rocks to your appointment. There are actually people who are allergic to children, and they come to our spa!
We also ask that you turn your cellphone to silent while you are in the spa, unless your ringtone is “It’s a Wonderful World”, by Louis Armstrong.
Now, this may seem like a redundant statement… but we are a spa! This means there are happy people in bare feet and bathrobes roaming the halls with massage brain and pedicure haze, and they don’t want their spa dreams shattered by splashing through puddles left by other clients who do not remove their shoes. We wash our floors, we promise, and we wash and sanitize our spa sandals, so please expect to remove your out footwear when you arrive.
Consider wearing loose and comfortable clothing in the spa, so your technician has easy access to the treatment. For the truly daring, arrive naked… that’s about as loose as it gets.
During all laser and flashlamp (IPL) procedures, you are required to have protective eyewear. This eyewear is provided by the spa, and we promise- it’s the absolute height of spa fashion!
Please keep the lines of communication open between you and your technician. If a treatment is uncomfortable or painful, please let us know. We will keep records of all your visits, and treatments settings are customized to you, so it is essential we know how you feel at all times.
For payment of products and services, we accept cash, all credit cards, and gold bullion. Although we do our best to make sure every client leave the spa deliriously happy, results are not guaranteed. We also do not issue refunds for services and/or opened products. Taxes and Tips are not included in the price.
